Looking for deeper, clearer and less sea weed? Take the 30 minute trip to the popular, and public Higgins Lake - North State Park! We use to camp here when our kids were little, but we still enjoy the large public beach and huge swimming area. Watch out for swimmers itch! They have a boat launch near here as well! *Note - Michigan Park Pass require for entry. (Usually $12)
